Playtime

Play time for me means planned exercise. I play tennis at least 3x per week for 90 minutes. It has to be on a clay court as my knees ache next day when I play on a hard court.

l learnt to play Tennis in High School and picked it up again when I became an Emptynester. We have a nice group of players and after the game we usually meet for brunch and catch up with stuff going on in our daily lives. Sometimes we have the occasional birthday to celebrate too.
GT Bray Park in Bradenton, Florida has 8 clay courts and converted their hard courts to Pickle ball courts! We were so surprised that they didn’t add more clay courts, but Pickle ball seems to be getting really popular.

Do you play in your daily life? What says “playtime” to you?
